Afterlife: Wandering Souls w/Elizabeth Chaipruditkul

April 5, 2020 · Discuss on the Geek Therapy Forum

Afterlife: Wandering Souls is a role playing game set after death. The game offers 2 key characteristics that caused it to be brought to our attention: 1) It deals with the discovery of lost memories as well as spiritual discovery of your character, and 2)It offers a great sand box for creating stories and allows for multiple worlds in one system. Woody had a discussion with creator Elizabeth Chaipruditkul about the inspiration for the game, and the potential uses of such a game in teaching us about ourselves. We feel certain that you will want to go out and buy this game following this discussion. https://www.angryhamsterpublishing.com/product/afterlife-wandering-souls/

Gaming in the Star Wars Universe

March 7, 2020 · Discuss on the Geek Therapy Forum

After a break in February, Rolling for Change returns with a new episode. This time we are geeking out over Star Wars gaming and Star Wars in general. We wanted to act while the fever is alive. However, whether you like the new episodes, or just want to stick to the classics, we discuss the value of being in the Star Wars universe and what it means as a gamer. We did not discuss video game adaptations unfortunately, but you can also find a number of opportunities to explore a galaxy far, far away, online and on home consoles. This episode we are joined by our new friend Dave Johnson who comes to us with a wealth of experience in Star Wars gaming and a solid understanding of the lore and mythology of the Star Wars universe.
